We have been dealing in fine old violins, violas, `cellos and bows for more than 30 years. By combining our worldwide contacts and buying expertise, we are able to offer excellent value for money, coupled with proper old fashioned service.

We operate from a real shop on the High Street where you can expect a warm welcome, and we are open 6 days a week, although we do suggest calling in advance for instrument matters / repair enquiries.

We always have an excellent selection of old violins, old violas, and old `cellos in most price ranges to suit all standards of player.

Our particular speciality is period instruments and bows of the 18th and 19th century and we can usually offer examples of the French, German, English and Italian schools from these periods together with the work of good quality 20th century makers.
